Oh hey!

I'm writing from my office in Ocean Grove (bottom of Australia) with my new golden retriever pup, Jones, by my side and the topic for the day is SOPs.

Yes, I started writing that and Jones fell asleep, like some of you might...but hear me out.

SOPs (standard operating procedures) are a little like sourdough.

You can get formal, follow the exact recipe and do everything by the book or you can read about the main principles and make something that still tastes good. I want to help you get bread (SOPs) on the table by tomorrow morning.

Why SOPs?

Helps other people do your job when you're away making sourdough or have been promoted and don't need to do that task anymore (yay!)
May add an extra 1x to the sale price of your business. New buyer sees your shiny SOPs and thinks "I can take those keys (ownership) and drive that car (business)".
Reduces risk of key people taking key info and leaving you in the dark looking for your keys
Sets clear guidelines so everyone knows who is doing what, when
